Before quoting, identify whether the site has three-phase leads, portable equipment, machinery or fixed installations. That helps separate routine in-service testing from work that may need a licensed electrical professional.
Industrial environments add context
Factories, workshops and warehouses can expose equipment to dust, vibration, movement and mechanical wear. The physical environment matters when deciding how the equipment should be inspected and managed.
Do not confuse testing with electrical installation work
Routine equipment inspection/testing is not the same as modifying wiring or carrying out prescribed electrical work. Where the issue goes beyond the testing scope, the correct response is referral to an appropriately licensed electrical worker.
Organising a mixed site
Create rough groups such as office appliances, portable tools, extension leads, RCDs and three-phase equipment. That makes the quote more accurate and reduces delays on arrival.
